Former Glee Cast Member, Mark Salling, Indicted On Child Pornography Charges

tips and messages     05:16:00

Mark Salling, 33, a former Glee Cast member has been charged for owning child pornography.
Salling who played the character Noah Puckerman aka ‘Puck’ in the hit musical TV series was arrested in December 2015 after his residence was searched by LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Following a tip off from a scorned ex-girlfriend, ICACTF allegedly found hundreds of indecent images of young children in his home – although he was indicted for just three videos and one still image.

Salling’s charges include a one count charge of using the internet to obtain a pornographic still image and video of young girls and a second count of possessing two child pornography videos featuring young girls.
The 33 year-old actor faces a minimum sentence of 5 years and a maximum of 20 years in prison if convicted of receiving child porn and 20 years prison sentence on the charge of owning child porn.
A US attorney,  Eileen M.  Decker said, “Those who download or possess child pornography create a market that causes more children to be harmed. Young victims are harmed every time an image is generated, every time it is distributed, and every time it is viewed.”
Mark Salling has had previous run-ins with the law as last year, he was sued by another ex-girlfriend Roxanne Gorzela for sexual battery after she claimed Salling forced her to have unprotected sex with him and then later, when she confronted him over his actions, he allegedly pushed her to the ground and caused injury to her knees, according to Dailymail.
Both parties settled the case for a reported $2.7million and the sexual battery case against Mark Salling was dropped.
